USER RIGHTS

Thus, you would select the “User Administration” icon on the bottom right-hand side of the Main Screen under the General Tab.  You will then see a screen similar to the following where you will indicate the rights of each user as far as access is concerned.

Only a couple of comments are needed here:  Be sure that both Juvenile and Narcotic Access is given only to persons authorized to see such data.  Do not freely grant the “Merge Persons” rights.  This will be discussed later in this manual.  However, suffice it to say here that when the records of two or more persons are “merged” IT CANNOT BE REVERSED, and the city is faced with a liability issue if someone’s warrant gets served on the wrong person because records where two people were truly not identical were merged.
