AD&S offers FingerPro FTS, a turnkey system that handles the electronic transmission of fingerprints to check state and national level criminal records on employment applicants. Results are delivered in hours, not weeks.
Fingerprints can be captured by Live Scan or rolled on a fingerprint card for scanning and transmitted digitally through our software for a virtually seamless process from the beginning to the end result.
Our software examines the fingerprint card or Live Scan prints to insure that they meet the requirements mandated by the Mississippi Crime Information Center (MCIC) and the FBI.

Automation
The results from the MCIC and FBI background checks are automatically downloaded by the system and results are posted to the appropriate record in the database.
Remote workstations can transmit data to the main workstation for submissions. Multiple business locations are not a problem.
Billing for background checks will automatically calculate the fees owed to the different agencies. Customized letters to applicants are included in the software.
Status of all records submitted is monitored and updated automatically.

Certified Scanners
To input fingerprint images from inked cards the FINGERPRO FTS can currently utilize one of the following FBI-certified desktop scanners:
HP ScanJet 5470c
EPSON Perfection 3200 PHOTO
EPSON Perfection 3170 PHOTO
EPSON Perfection 4490 PHOTO
 To input inkless fingerprint images the FINGERPRO FTS utilizes the FBI-certified Cross Match ID442 live scan device and Identification International, Inc., i3 DigID LE.
Eliminate the inked fingerprint cards and get immediate feedback from the software on the quality of the fingerprint before it is submitted.
The new i3 Live Scan is FBI certified, compatible with FingerPro FTS software and weighs less than five pounds. Featuring easy-to-use digital imaging technology, the i3 Live Scan does not require an independent power source. Instead, it draws power directly from a laptop or desktop computer through a USB 2.0 cable connection.
The i3 Live Scan will capture fingerprints and with FingerPro FTS descriptive data such as date of birth, Social Security number, etc., can then be sent electronically to check the MCIC database and forwarded to the FBI. This will help to ensure the completeness of the state and national criminal history databases.
The i3 is affordable and within the reach of nearly every health and law enforcement agency. In fact it is one of the best priced live scan systems on the market today. If you're already using the FingerPro FTS software with the card scan option, it's easy to upgrade to the i3 Live Scan.
